Professional Development

ASTD Maryland provides a variety of professional development opportunities for both members and non-members.    Our monthly chapter programs is one great way to network with other learning and development professionals and gain knowledge. 

We also offer workshops throughout the year that focus on different areas of workplace learning and performance.  Visit our Events page on a regular basis to stay up to date with new programs or workshops.  If you are a non-member, we encourage you to sign up for our mailing list to receive our monthly electronic newsletter which lists any upcoming programs or workshops. 

Some other ways to develop yourself as a workplace learning professional:

• Join (or start!) a Special Interest Group
• Obtain CPLP certification
• Attend a ASTD National certificate program/workshop
