Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are informal discussion groups that meet on a regular basis either in person or virtually to discuss topics in a specific area of interest. These groups are a forum to share innovative ideas, experiences, and network with colleagues. They are a great way to learn from one another’s expertise and keep up to date on the latest trends in your field of interest.
Participation in SIG events and meetings is a member benefit and one of the many ways we bring more value to your ATD Maryland membership. Non-members are invited to attend 2 complimentary SIG meetings. After that, we invite you to join the chapter to enjoy unlimited SIG meetings AND a reduced rate at our monthly programs.
We currently have three active SIGs - Consultant SIG, Leadership SIG and Book Discussion SIG. Our newest SIG on eLearning will be starting in September. If you have an idea for a SIG or are interested in leading a SIG, contact our Professional Development Director.
