This presentation will provide workplace learning professionals with practical tips, ideas and strategies that you can apply immediately to get the job or promotion you want, and put your career on the right track.

Our presenter: Dr. Greg Williams over 25 years experience as a faculty member, trainer, career advisor, instructional designer, and consultant in training and education.   He has worked with hundreds of people seeking jobs or promotions in the field of workplace learning, as well as people making career changes.  

He has designed, developed and taught online and in-person courses at many colleges and universities including University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).  

He currently serves as the Director of UMBC’s graduate program in Instructional Systems Development, and also teaches in the program.  He teaches a graduate course in how to create a career portfolio and is the author of the ASTD Infoline on “Build Your Training Portfolio”

Dr. Williams completed his B.A., M.S. at The State University of New York at Plattsburgh.  He completed his Ed.D. at The George Washington University.
