In 2006 Loyola University Maryland established Next Generation Leadership to develop experienced and newly-appointed mid-level Loyola leaders identified by their vice presidents as “high potential.”

This session will describe the process for creating this successful professional development program.  Participants can use Loyola’s experience to create a Leadership Model for their organization that can serve as a foundation for leadership development program content; ensure that program content is relevant to participant and institutional needs; gain commitment and participation from senior leaders; ensure ongoing participant development following completion of the formal program; and assess the success of the program.
