ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) is the world's leading association of workplace learning and performance professionals.  The Maryland Chapter of ASTD was founded in 1949 and is one of over 140 ASTD chapters throughout the world. ASTD Maryland chapter members include trainers, consultants, organizational development specialists, instructional designers, and human resources professionals. Our chapter is proud to announce that once again, we are 100% CORE compliant.  This means that we have met all 18 chapter operating requirements set forth by ASTD National.  These requirements cover areas such as chapter administration, finances, membership, professional development and communications.
