OK…. You’ve finished your degree in Instructional Systems, Human Performance, Adult Learning, Educational Assessment, etc. What do you want to do? Are you going into designing, developing, delivering, or assessing training, performance, or education solutions? But, just as important you’ll need to know how to make a profit and earn a living doing it. OMG – you say, “I didn’t study that in my program, I was sure that everyone will be impressed with my extensive research and process knowledge.”
In this interactive session we’ll share with those in attendance who have a role as a business owner; manager within a training and performance firm; leader of a large company professional development department; university faculty member or department head; as well as those who plan to be in one of those environments. The goal is to explore what “life beyond the certificate, degree, thesis, or dissertation” entails.
NOTE: Attendees should be prepared to share with each other (nothing proprietary, of course).

About the Presenter
Stuart Weinstein is the Practice Leader for Systems at Management Concepts, a premier provider of training and performance improvement solutions for students from federal, state, local, non-profit, university, and commercial corporation settings via courses delivered online, onsite, or at training locations, nationwide. Stuart has 42 years of professional experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional products for dissemination via the Internet, computer, satellite, videotape, videodisc, broadcast television, CD-ROM, DVD, and classroom for military, civilian government, and commercial clients. He is the author of 54 articles/conference presentation, co-authored several books, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Instructional Systems Development Masters Degree Program at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
